Shane began coordinating our clients' risk management needs in 2013. He has since joined our team officially as our Property & Casualty Agent / Risk Management Coordinator and Associate Partner of DM Bruce Insurance. Shane merged his growing property & casualty agency with DM Bruce Insurance in 2016.  Shane brings a wealth of experience from backgrounds in both the insurance and planning industries to our team, allowing him to oversee our clients' comprehensive risk management needs in the context of their entire financial picture.  In addition, Shane works directly with the firm's property & casualty clients to ensure they get the coverage they need at a competitive premium.

Shane grew up in Topeka but left to attend John Brown University in Siloam Springs, AR. He graduated with a degree in Business Administration. Shortly after graduation he met his future wife, Valerie. They have been married for almost 23 years and have three daughters, ages 12, 13 and 15.  Shane is active in many areas of the family's church, school and athletics activities, and enjoys golfing in his spare time.
